The idea for this album was to write a soundtrack for a video game that would never exist. I wanted to make an audio adventure with a new consistent theme: The ocean.

I had been writing tracks for a friend's game, and while I loved the sounds I was creating for him, I also wanted to expand on that type of writing even more, and take it in a direction I had more creative control over. I also loved the idea of a completely electronic composition, coming off of the previous guitar and piano-driven album.

I had initially planned to write a quick EP with only 3-4 tracks. Once I got started however, I was quickly inspired to write more and more. Eventually the idea came to fill out an entire Vinyl LP, and I ended up with 6-7 very long indulgent tracks to round out a solid half-hour of music!

Heavily influenced by the sounds of Radiohead, Deadmau5, Trentemøller, and Jim Guthrie.

I love every track on this album, and I hope you will too.
